More Gavin Pictures

Since we got back from the hospital, I've taken over 100 pictures. Yikes. I think I'm outta control.

But...It's okay. I just can't help it. You'll see why. And yes, perhaps I'm a little biased. :)

I'm just so in love with this furrowed forehead, these perfect thighs, owl-like lips, beautiful hair, watching Brian be the daddy and all. The last four days have run away with me. But we're just loving being home loving our baby. That's all we do. And it's wonderful.

Some of my favs from days 4, 5, and 6...

Introducing...

Our darling little boy!

Gavin Brian Robinson was born last night at 7:46pm. He weighed in at 8 pounds 4 ounces and is 19 1/2 inches long. Just perfect if you ask me!
Here are some of the early moments...

Gavin meets his daddy. Sigh.
The doctors

Our little family.

I think it's safe to say that our lives are changed forever. What an incredible experience that was to share with Brian. Everything went so smoothly. It was a textbook pregnancy and delivery. I just keep staring at the little kid having a hard time believing he is ours. He's been on an IV and oxygen to make sure his breathing is okay. The doctors and nurses tell me he is fine, but I hate not being able to roll him down here into my room. Hopefully by tomorrow they will let us have him here. Thanks to all for your interest, thoughts, prayers, and phonecalls! Love to you all!

Blogging from the Hospital

Yep, that's right. Here I sit at the hospital just killing some time. We've been here for about four hours and they tell me I'll move along quickly. Here's hoping!

Brian was out of town all week and he kept checking in with me via phone calls. Last night at about 10 I felt like things were different and called him to come home. He got home at midnight, we went on a morning walk (after NO sleep - waking up every 8 or 9 minutes doesn't help) and then headed down here at 11:00 am, pretty much expecting to be sent home. They kept us after all, broke my water, gave me an epidural, and life is good. Brian's just hanging out watching Zoolander and I'm eating ice chips. Yum.

This is my official plug for epidurals. I don't have any intentions of being Wonder Woman. Those of you who do, well, you're crazy - but you are official Wonder Women in my book. Contractions without were not my favorite.

Next post...our baby boy!
