Arizona or Bust

This afternoon Gavin and I are headed to AZ. Brian is going to Clear Creek again for a week so I'm going to hang out with the fam. I just might melt, but it's worth it for good company and Gavin to meet the other side of the family. I stayed up awake last night worried that we would get stuck in the middle of the plane and everyone would hate me and my (possibly) crying baby. Here's hoping that he'll just eat and sleep and be happy. I just printed my boarding pass and I got "B"...this isn't good. Apparently they don't pre-board people with kids anymore. Don't they know that everyone will be more grateful if the moms and babies get to sit where they need to? It's all good - we'll make it and I'm sure it will be an adventure.

I hope everything went smooth on the flight. I know you'll be busy while your visiting your family but I'd love to come and see you and meet gavin. Call me if you get a chance and maybe we could work something out.

I think they'll still preboard you, you just have to tell them that you have a baby. I think. Hopefully the flight goes well--this should be a good age to depend on them to sleep! Have a fun trip!

I think they will pre-board you if you have a baby. They just won't let you sit in the emergency exits (the seats with more leg room). We flew with Darcy when she was 3 months old and she was an angel, as long as she nursed or had a bottle on takeoff and again while landing.

I love your background! It is just like mine. Great minds think a like. Have fun with your family!

Ohhh! That "let buisness board before babies" thing is a pet peeve of mine. Why did they change a good thing? I hope the trip went well, anyway. And a little flying with baby trick I learned (for when Gavin is a bit older) laughing helps the ears almost as good as swallowing, so when he is tickelish...
