Wicked Cool

Last week Brian and I were able to see Wicked at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake. We have had tickets twice before and were unable to go. Once we were moving and the other Brian had pneumonia. Luckily, Brian took pity on me and I flew myself to Denver a few years ago to see it with my friend Melanie. But Brian still has never been – until now.

It was absolutely AMAZING. It is the best show I’ve EVER seen – and I have appreciated many a musical… There is no time to look at the program to see who is playing what character or what song is coming next. Besides, we all know what song is coming next. And if you don’t, let me urge you to listen to the CD because you are seriously missing out. My attention was completely captivated. So wonderful. So funny. Beyond entertaining. Best $100 you’ll ever spend.

I love Wicked! I'm excited to take Rob with me to see it this summer. I've had tickets since November! He is not a musical person but I really think he'll like this show....

I'm glad you got to see it again and with your hubby this time!

Did you guys plan the coordinating green? It looks great. I am glad you had fun. We wanted to get tickets but it never worked out. Tommy promised to take me away somewhere and go see it.

Ah, Wicked. We were just listening to the soundtrack this weekend. And I love the wearing green to go see it!

Of course we planned the green! It's the only way to go! Most people missed the dress code memo, but not us!

That sounds like a great date. I love musicals also.

It looks like you had such a great time. I have the CD you gave me in my CD player. Whitney listens to it and sings along... okay, so she doesn't sing along. I would love to see Wicked. I still think of Melanie Brower every time I hear POPULAR.

I'm starting to think I'm the last person on earth who has yet to see this. There's no way Joe would go though.
